Higiei fountain in Poznan a monument with an artificial spring, located in the city center, on Freedom Square, before Raczynski Library. The monument was unveiled in the year 1841. The designers were Albert Wolff and Christian Gottlieb Cantian. On the monument reads: “Edward Raczyński gave r.1841 city in the new aqueduct bringing water from the spring Winiarski Hill and built the well at the intersection of ul. Al Feb. 23. Marcinkowski devoting her Vincent Priessnitz / 1799-1851 / creator hydrotherapy. The statue Higiei -bogini health bearing the features of the founder’s wife, Constance Raczynska, was placed in 1908., when the well was transferred to Al. Marcinkowskiego situated at the outlet roller. Young. at this site was placed in the well on. 1971.
