The city’s most popular hiking terrain. Less than 2 km from the center of Harstad you will find Folkeparken, a popular recreation area that is widely used by Harstad’s population . Here you will find marked trails, lighted trails, 9 country shelter and various bathing areas. You can choose to go around or continue upward past Musvannet if you want to go up towards the mountains.

The brochure about Folkeparken in Harstad can be obtained from the Tourist Office. It is available in Norwegian , English and German.
