Feriye Lokantasi Restaurant

Bringing together Istanbul’s most iconic symbols into its view, Feriye Palace is located on the shore of the Bosphorus, which has been the heart of Istanbul for over 100 years.

Feriye, with its central location, land and sea transport, green spaces and airy lounges overlooking the sea. After it was restored by Kabataş Education Foundation in 1995, it opened as Feriye Restaurant. In addition to the restaurant where the tastes of Istanbul are brought together with the visitors, it is now together with brands such as Cream & Sugar and SeaSalt. Once an Ottoman police station, Feriye’s building is a rare example of 19th-century classical Ottoman architecture. , Feriye holds regular seminars and special food presentations. The restaurant draws on Ottoman cooking techniques from the 12th to 19th century and includes such delicacies as spicy cured beef and manti (filled dough pockets). Feriye can host a wide range of events: the à la carte restaurant caters for cocktail parties and sit-down dinners, and in summer the huge terrace can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
