Eski Cami, Edirne Merkez, Turkey
Old Mosque , Turkey ‘s Edirne province in the center of the mosque is located. It is also known as the first original abridged structure that reached our time in Edirne. According to the booklet on the side door of the glass, the architect is Haci Aladin of Konya and his residence is Ömer ibn-i İbrahim . There is a minaret in the north and northeastern part of the glass.
In the Ottoman period , the period called Fetret Era was initiated by Süleyman Çelebi in 1403. It was completed in 1414 by I. Mehmed . From the Ottoman sultans II. Ahmed and II. Mustafa ‘s ceremonies were held on this camel sword. The mosque was damaged by fire in 1749 and earthquake in 1752; It was repaired during the reign of Mahmud I. Following the founding of the Republic, restoration took place in 1924-1934.
