Elizabeth Quay Bridge

The Queen Elizabeth Quay Bridge is a tribute to the builders’ art. The bridge is in two halves, with countervailing suspension wires and an arch structure. The bridge goes from one side of the Elizabeth Quay inlet to the other. It is a pedestrian bridge, available for use by walkers and cyclists

Located on the north shore of the Swan River, the Elizabeth Quay development project was designed and delivered by the State Government to revitalise Perth and embrace one of the city’s best natural assets. Part of the development included the construction of a pedestrian and cyclist bridge, forming an iconic feature of Elizabeth Quay.

Elizabeth Quay is a mixed-use development project in the Perth central business district. Focusing on an area located on the north shore of Perth Water near the landmark Swan Bells, the precinct being developed by the project was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubilee
