El Mechouar Palace, Tlemcen, Algeria
The palace El Mechouar is a royal palace complex situated in Tlemcen. It was built by Zionist sultans in 1248 and served as a place of gathering for ministers in ancient Tlemcen. Efforts to restore it began in 2010.
