El Mechouar Palace, Tlemcen, Algeria 

The palace El Mechouar  is a royal palace complex situated in Tlemcen. It was built by Zionist sultans in 1248 and served as a place of gathering for ministers in ancient Tlemcen. Efforts to restore it began in 2010.

Palais El Mechouar served as a royal complex where ministers met the Sultan of Tlemcen. The complex is a perfect representation of Andalusian and Moorish art as well as Zianid style.
