Eglise St Blaise, Vichy, Auvergne, France

This architectural ensemble (ISMH) is made up of two churches: the old church that houses the miraculous Black Madonna and the new Art Deco church. In the old church: the statue of Our Lady of Vichy in black, the altar of the Blessed Sacrament in white marble of the nineteenth, 4 gilded wooden statues, stained glass windows of 1923: they are almost all dedicated to Mary. The new church was built in 1925 and blessed in 1931. On the outside, the gray aspect of the concrete was hidden by covering it with a coating to give it the appearance of granite. The interior decoration is a unique example, complete and very representative of the Art Deco in its infancy.
