Eaton Square

Eaton Square is a rectangular, residential garden square in London’s Belgravia district. It is the largest square in London. It is one of the three squares built by the landowning Grosvenor family when they developed the main part of Belgravia in the 19th century that are named after places in Cheshire — in this case Eaton Hall, the Grosvenor country house.

Eaton Square, located in the prestigious Belgravia district of London, is renowned for its stunning architecture and historical significance. Designed in the early 19th century by surveyor Thomas Cundy and master builder Thomas Cubitt, the square was developed on land that was once marshy fields. Today, it features an impressive array of grand stucco houses and elegant gardens, making it one of London’s most sought-after addresses

The square boasts six central gardens surrounded by opulent residences, and it has been home to notable figures, including three British Prime Ministers and several famous actors like Vivien Leigh and Sean Connery. The charm of Eaton Square lies not just in its architectural beauty but also in its rich history, reflecting the cultural evolution of one of London’s most elite neighborhoods
