Juddmonte is the international thoroughbred horse racing and breeding enterprise founded in 1980 by the late Prince Khalid bin Abdullah. Juddmonte stands world-class stallions at Banstead Manor Stud in Newmarket, UK and in Kentucky, USA and today owns approximately 200 broodmares across its farms in the UK, Ireland and the USA, with approximately 150 foals born each year and 250 horses in training worldwide.
Juddmonte’s sustained success stems from the quality of its broodmare band and its willingness to invest and take a long-term view. The broodmare band has been carefully developed and nurtured over 40 years through selective matings and purchases. From this, Juddmonte has achieved a consistent track record of producing top-class homebred racehorses competing both for ourselves and others at the highest level across the world.
We have bred over 100 individual Group/Grade 1 winners of over 200 Group/Grade 1 races, including Classic winners, with our horses racing in Prince Khalid’s famous pink, green and white colours.
