
The step-back-in-time character of the building remains to the fore while the contemporary-styled rooms have more of a boutique feel. The Dale Street entrance, in particular, showcases the restored, renaissance features, such as marbled columns and stained-glass windows, the latter depicting symbols of Liverpool’s maritime heritage. The former cigar room is a space for private events with the original fireplace under the motto: ‘Fear God. Honour the King’.
Our 19th-century Grade II-listed building features original Corinthian columns and Italian mosaic floors.
