Domaine BINI, Ivory Coast
At a jump from Abidjan about half an hour drive from the center of the city, a secret passage built secretly under the North Highway years ago opens you to another world : Domaine Bini, named after its owner and founder Jean-Marc Bini, a passionate and passionate host. A 20-year-old bank officer and self-employed at the age of 25, Jean-Marc immigrated to Canada in 2005, leaving behind the 70-hectare family plantation that his father had acquired in 1974, which had remained untapped since the death of the latter in 1992.
It is the Canadian tradition of pumpkin picking and the many emulators it brings together each year that triggered the decision, and the decision to promote the precious family patrimony: a mosaic-domain with rich and diverse vegetation, planted with primary forest, cocoa plants, rubber trees, papayas and other varied plants and trees that Jean-Marc and his brother had already fought to preserve poaching and wild plantations.
