Dinarjat Resteraunt, Rabat, Morocco
It is in the Oudayas that Lalla Fatima invites you to taste real Moroccan bourgeois cuisine. Just push the door of Dinarjat, an establishment founded in 1990 by Rachid El Guennouni, eager to attract Rbatis and foreign visitors to this charming district, a few meters from the famous rue des Consuls.
The beauty of this former notable residence built in 1908 and the talent of Lalla Fatia have made this place a benchmark in terms of traditional cuisine. Her recipes were entrusted to her by her mother and grandmother, as were her little tricks that make all the difference.
As in the past, it whets your appetite with a succession of raw and cooked salads before approaching a tagine which has taken the time to cook gently.
The Dinarjat is also a must-see address for restaurant guides in Morocco.
