
Déshèngmén Jiànlóu) is the Deshengmen Arrow Tower, a historic gate tower located in the northern part of Beijing. It was originally part of the old city wall system during the Ming Dynasty and served both as a military defense structure and a checkpoint for travelers entering the city.
The tower, with its distinctive traditional Chinese architecture, features a high, square base topped with a wooden pavilion and has long symbolised Beijing’s northern gateway.
