Dazu Rock Carvings refers to all rock carvings in Dazu, and among them, the rock carvings in Baodingshan, Beishan, Nanshan, Shizhuanshan and Shimenshan were listed as World Heritage Sites in 1999. It’s an eight-hundred-year-old art gallery, and the carvings describe the Buddha instructions of behavior in daily life.
