Cornwall Airport Newquay

Cornwall Airport Newquay is the main commercial airport for Cornwall. At Mawgan in Pydar, northeast of Newquay on Cornwall’s north coast, its runway was operated by RAF St Mawgan before 2008 and is now owned by Cornwall Council.

Airport Cafe

We have two Coffee Republics, one in the main terminal (near check-in) and the other in the departure lounge (after security). Coffee Republic’s food is made to the highest standards and most of our products are made on site each day. So whether you are after a sandwich, one of our great toasties or just a slice of cake, you can be assured that they are freshly made. Nearly all of the packaging that we use is compostable and recyclable. All our drinks can be made with soya, full fat, semi or skimmed milk. Our shop in the departure lounge is a great place to purchase some last minute Cornish Goodies before you fly out. Products include Cornish wine and spirits as well as other local food and souvenir products. The shop remains open with social distancing measures in place.

Executive Lounge

Please note, unfortunately our executive lounge is currently closed due to social distancing guidelines. Comfortable seating and a quiet and relaxed environment, just off the main departure lounge. Hot and cold soft and alcoholic drinks are available as well as light refreshments. Entry is £15 and entry can be purchased from the Information Desk in the check-in hall. Priority Pass lounge users can also access the lounge – please present your proof of membership at the information desk prior to passing through security. We regret that children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the lounge. Entrants are limited to spending a maximum of 3 hours in the lounge in any one visit.

Directions by car:

From A30 (East or West): Exit the A30 at Highgate Hill (sign posted to Indian Queens and the Airport) and continue on the A39 until you reach the St Columb Major roundabout. Continue to follow signs to the Airport onto the A3059 before turning right towards St Mawgan and Watergate Bay.
