Green space on an old sawmill & cooperage plot with a skate park, playground & basketball court. Coopers’ Park, is a versatile urban green space nestled beneath the Cambie Street Bridge. This unique location offers visitors a variety of recreational amenities, including a playground, skateboard area, basketball court, and a dog off-leash area. The park’s design incorporates winding paths, numerous benches, and open lawns, providing ample opportunities to relax and enjoy expansive views of False Creek and the city skyline.
In 2024, Coopers’ Park underwent significant enhancements, including the renewal of the dog off-leash area, the addition of a Pacific Northwest-themed fitness area designed to support parkour and calisthenics, and the complete renewal of the existing playground. These improvements aim to provide year-round recreational opportunities in a uniquely urban environment.
