Cody Park home to a collection of animals, picnic areas and various children’s rides, including a restored antique carousel with hand carved horses.

In addition, this public facility houses the beautiful life-size statue of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, the display of flags from the tours of the Wild West Show and a collection of railroad locomotives and cars donated by Union Pacific.

In September, Cody Park is the site of our annual “Arts In The Park” event, notable for its fine booths featuring handcrafted items by local artists and craftsmen.

Cody Park is located just south of the North Platte river on Highway 83 and is comprised of 100 acres. The park has many outstanding features for kids, including Kiddie rides, campsites, animal enclosure, horseshoe pitching facility, tennis courts and three large playgrounds.
