Giant Screen Entertainment Limited (GSEL) entered the national cinema landscape with the island’s first and still largest digital screen and IMAX 3D technology at One Woodbrook Place – the Digicel IMAX Movie Theatre in 2011. The only theatre of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean.
Fast forward five years later, (almost to the day) the company rebranded itself as CinemaOne the movie exhibition company to offer not only the IMAX experience but various movie experiences as trending on the international markets. Its second movie experience is the country’s first dine-in Cineplex – Gemstone Cinemas on the 2nd floor of the entertainment building, of One Woodbrook Place. Truly establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
