Cimitero monumentale di Ravenna

The Monumental Cemetery of Ravenna, established in 1817, is situated along the banks of the Candiano Canal, approximately 3 km from the city center. Founded during the Napoleonic era, it serves as the final resting place for several prominent figures in Italian history, including Corrado Ricci, Luigi Rasi, and Filippo Mordani. The cemetery is also renowned for its replicas of Ravenna’s early Christian mosaics.

To enhance visitor experience, the “Cimitero dal Vivo” project offers an interactive map, a mobile app, and a live performance, providing a unique and engaging exploration of the cemetery.
