Cilla Black Statue. Mathew Street Liverpool Merseyside L2 6RE. About. A life-size bronze statue of Cilla Black stands in Mathew Street. Unveiled in 2017, the statue is a tribute to the local star who once worked as a cloak room girl at the Cavern before having a successful music career herself.
The ‘Cilla’ statue is situated on Mathew Street outside the original Cavern entrance which is the entrance Cilla used when she worked and sang there; The project has taken 1 year to complete and was commissioned by Cilla’s sons as a thank you to the city of Liverpool
