Chiyoda City

Centrally located among Tokyo’s 23 wards, ChiyodaCity is brimming with character and unique attractions, from the Imperial Palace to Akihabara. Chiyoda is the central district of Tokyo, in the heart of the Japanese capital.Almost fully surrounded by the famous JR Yamanote train line, it spreads out over 12km² only and is home of the Imperial Palace as well as the main political headquarters.
The luxury business district of Marunouchi is also part of its landscape. Chiyoda is a special ward located in central Tokyo, Japan. It is known as Chiyoda City in English. It was formed in 1947 as a merger of Kanda and Kōjimachi wards following Tokyo City’s transformation into Tokyo Metropolis.
