Chateau Viale, Kloto, Togo
In Togo, above Kpalimé, 120 km north-west of Lomé is Mount Kloto, where the Viale Castle sits. This castle was built by a German named Viale from 1940-1944. In 1979, the castle became a presidential residence where African ministers and presidents stayed. Since 1982, Viale Castle has been abandoned and has become a place for a walk for the image hunter or the curious tourist.
