Charrana Beach, Bni Chiker, Taza-Al Hoceima-Taounate, Morocco
The beach of Charana or Dashrana or what the inhabitants of the village of Bani Shiker call it the lake is located northwest of Melilla. Its borders extend to the communities of Izzana and Farkhana, which is a tribal land of the Bani Shaker, province of Nador. Access to Charana requires crossing from an unpaved slope and from difficult curves and rocks. A magnificent nature of mountains, terraces, caves and agricultural areas spread among small hills, making it a favorite haven for many Spaniards living in Melilla, especially for those who owns cars that are good for this kind of rugged terrain.
This beach is distinguished by its depth that does not exceed half a meter, characterized by quietness, tranquility and cleanliness of the place. Many families prefer to take their children on summer vacation to enjoy swimming without fear of drowning.
