Central Museum of Mongolian Dinosaurs, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Take a close look at the 3 m tall skeleton of Tyrannosaurus Rex’s Mongolian cousin, Tarbosaurus bataar at The Central Museum of Mongolian Dinosaurs. This small museum features 16 skeletal remains of dinosaurs excavated in the territory of modern-day Mongolia. Observe life-sized models of various dinosaurs and learn about their life at lectures. Other exhibits feature various raptors and a nest of oviraptor eggs. The prime exhibit was taken from the country’s vast fossil and skeletal heritage and returned to the country after a legal battle in the U.S.
