Cemetery on Pęksowym Brzyzek, Zakopane, Małopolska Voivodeship, Poland
It is first and the oldest cemetery in Zakopane and was created in the middle of XIX century. It is very important and unique place for all people. Due to limited space only deserving citizens of the city were able to be buried here. You could find amazing places of rest of many famous and great people like Tytus Chalubinski (doctor, the biggest promoter of Tatra Mountains and explorer of nature of Tatras), Sabala (mountaineer, Tatra honorary guide, musician, storyteller and singer), Stanislaw Marusarz (famous ski jumper and Tatra courier) and many other artists, nobilities, guides, mountain rescuers etc.
