Abyss Ancona is the first part of the cave appeared to its discoverers, and took the name of their city of origin. It ‘a huge cavity, perhaps among the largest in Europe and in the world, presenting these dimensions: 180 meters long, 120 meters wide and 200 meters high. In the bottom of the cavity it can ‘observe a chaotic mass of blocks, a result of the destructive movements and collapses that have occurred over the millennia, and that gave rise to the Abyss Ancona.
