Castle Of Van, İpekyolu, Van, Turkey

The entrance of the castle, reaching a very solid daylight, is northwest. Immediately west of the entrance is the Sarduri Burcu (Madir Burcu). There are nailed inscriptions written in Assyrian by I. Sarduri. When the top of the castle goes up from the north end of the castle, there is a grave monument of the 1st Urartu I Argisti and nails written on the walls at the entrance. In the southern part of the castle there are burial chambers belonging to the Urartu kings. On the south are the remains of the old Van city. The Ulu Camii belonging to the Seljuk Period and the Kaya Çelebi and Hüsrev Paşa Camii belonging to the Ottoman Period are remarkable works.
