Carn Boel

Carn Boel is on the left of the zawn (facing out) with Carn Sperm on the right. The deep zawn between them is known as the Lion’s Den, possibly from the ‘lion’s head’ profile of Carn Boel as seen from the east. Carn Les Boel is the headland jutting out into the sea, there are many signs of ancient habitation on this exposed headland including an ancient fort, Carn Les Boel, Headland Detail and Distant Longships Lighthouse; Cornish Coast Near Lands End.
