Captain Roger Omenhiser

CDR Omenhiser serves as the Executive Officer of Coast Guard Base Miami Beach. He oversees mission support activities that facilitate Coast Guard operations within the Seventh Coast Guard District and its subordinate commands. Base Miami Beach acts as the host command for Sector Miami and several sub-units, offering port services to transient Coast Guard and visiting vessels. The base also manages geographically distributed depot-level maintenance in Naval and Electronics Engineering and provides logistics, administrative, financial, purchasing, and healthcare services to Coast Guard units across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico.

CDR Omenhiser is married to Cheryl Dudek of Milford, Massachusetts. They are proud parents of twins, Ethan and Evelyn, who are three years old.
