Cap Esterias, Akanda, Gabon
Cap Estérias was a town some twenty kilometers north of Libreville. It was the capital of the homonyne department. In 2013, the city is incorporated in the new commune of Akanda and the department is abolished 1.
Geographically, Cape Estérias marks the entrance to the estuary of Komo , Gabon. Located near the forest of Mondah , it is a place of walk appreciated Librevillois.
The surroundings combine landscapes of crystalline beaches and lush forests with offshore islands.
