Canion do Itaibezinho, State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
The Itaimbezinho is a side canyon broken or throat (in English, canyon ) Brazilian, located in Aparados da Serra National Park , on the border of the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina , Brazil .
The upper part of the plateau is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul , and the edges of the canyon are the border with the state of Santa Catarina . Being that the walls, the Waterfall of the Swallows , the Cascade Véu de Noiva , the bottom of the valley where the River of the Ox is located are in Santa Catarina territory .
The gorge stretches 5.8 km, with a maximum width of 2 km and a maximum height of about 700 m, being covered by the stream Perdizes. In Brazil , we can mention several other canyons, such as Fortaleza Gorge , Gorge Guartelá Canyon Malacara and Stone Canyon.
