Named after the artists’ magazine of 1903, this gallery displays photographs of numerous well-known artists. Galerie CAMERA WORK from Berlin was founded in 1997 and is one of the leading galleries for photographic art. Its philosophy is to represent not only such well-known artists of the history of photography as Richard Avedon, Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn or Man Ray, but also young contemporary artists, in order to manifest photographic art as an independent genre within the fine arts and to give space to new positions.
