What began as a pop-up in 2013 is a full-blown success story today. The dishes prepared for this fine Mexican establishment are the personal reflections of Chef Val M. Cantu on the food traditions south-of-the border. Expect typical fare like ceviche, caldo and tamales made with super-fresh, super high-quality and, sometimes, unexpected ingredients (a “churro” with foie gras, for example, or chicharron made with scallops). $223/person for the chef’s 16-course tasting menu.
