Calanque de Sugiton , Marseille, France

The creek of Sugiton is composed of two creeks with each a small beach of pebbles. In front of an island called Torpedo because it looks like a military ship. A little further flat stones and a beach below large cliffs, until then appreciated by naturists , are since the tragic accident of 2005 prohibited access. Sugiton has a beautiful setting with high cliffs. The paths continue on one side towards Morgiou and on the other towards the cove of the Eye of Glass , there are many big stones fallen in the sea. It is reached by Marseille since the departmental 559 at the bottom of the col de la Gineste towards the Luminy University Center. There is a large car park and a fountain. The path is fake flat to the neck where you will find on the right a lookout about 500 meters, the view overlooks the cove of Morgiou and the sea (the look is worth seeing). Otherwise follow the road downhill to Sugiton.
