Cafe Luxembourg opened for business in 1983 and fashioned itself as a Parisian bistro, but was determined to serve better food. Over time, it built a core of regulars who pack the 90-seat eatery each night. This restaurant serves food almost until midnight so people attending concerts or the musicians who play in them can get a bite to eat.
The menu lists the old favorites like lobster roll and steak tartare, but it also offers more contemporary dishes such as pan roasted chicken with Swiss chard and feta cheese and almond crusted cod with roasted salsify and braised carrots in a ginger broth.
