The new “Estação Cabo Branco Ciência, Cultura e Arte” (Cabo Branco Station – Science, Culture and Arts) located at the most eastern point of the Americas (Ponta dos Seixas) is both an educational and cultural institution as well as a national landmark. The complex, inaugurated in 2008, was created by world renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and is one of his latest projects. The center provides a wide range of cultural and educational activities for locals and turists.
