Cable Car
Cablecar rides offering sweeping views to the peak of Gibraltar’s Rock, plus a cozy snack bar. The Cable Car is one of the ways to the “Top of the Rock” and a must-see attraction for all visitors to Gibraltar. The journey takes passengers 412m above sea level in approximately 6 minutes offering spectacular views all the way.
From the Top Station, one has uninterrupted views southwards across the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa; westwards, of the City of Gibraltar and across the Bay to Algeciras; a bird’s eye view of Gibraltar airport and Spain to the north; and the blue expanse of the Mediterranean and the beaches and cities of the Costa del Sol to the east. Visitors can also pick up a bite to eat at the Top of the Rock snack bar and watch the apes get up to their tricks from the comfort of the air-conditioned inside the viewing area.
