Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Ulan-Ude, Buryatiya Republits, Russia 

The musical theater of Buryatia has gone from the mastering of the genre of musical drama to the creation of national operas and ballets, among them the first-born and pride of the national musical art of the opera Enkh-Bulat-bator M. 1941-1945

During the Great Patriotic War, several concert brigades were formed from the remaining artists in the theater, performing in the republic, in the cities of Siberia and the Far East. Despite the difficulties of the military, the theater continued to improve its productions and learn new ones: operas “Eugene Onegin” by P. Tchaikovsky and “Faust” by S. Gounod, ballets “The Fountain of Bakhchisarai” by B. Asafiev and “Vain Precaution” by P. Gertel.
