Brockton Point Lighthouse

Brockton Point Lighthouse, situated at the northeastern tip of Stanley Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a historic landmark that has guided mariners since 1890. The current structure, designed by William P. Anderson, was constructed in 1914 and features a white tower adorned with a red horizontal stripe and a red lantern. The lighthouse stands approximately 10.6 meters tall and is supported by an arched base, allowing visitors to pass beneath along the shoreline pathway.

Although the lighthouse was officially deactivated in 2008, it remains a popular attraction for both locals and tourists. Its picturesque design and strategic location make it a favorite spot for photography, offering stunning views of the surrounding waters and the city skyline. The area around the lighthouse is also home to several other notable attractions, including the Totem Poles and the Nine O’Clock Gun, making it a must-visit destination within Stanley Park.
