British Ambassador to Switzerland and to Liechtenstein Jane Owen
The Ambassador represents Her Majesty The Queen and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services. Jane Owen is currently Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and non-resident Ambassador to Liechtenstein. Jane was educated at Ellerslie School in Malvern, and Trinity College, Cambridge (BA Hons in Russian, French and German). She was born in Bilston in the West Midlands.
