Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre
Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre is a colourful multi award winning interactive exhibition telling the story of the Battle of Bosworth and its place in the Wars of the Roses set within a well-appointed visitor centre and beautiful Country Park in the south west of Leicestershire. Self-lead or guided walks around the site are amongst one of the highlights.
Visitors of all ages will find something to enjoy at the Battlefield Centre and Country Park – where the dramatic story of how King Richard III lost his life, crown and the throne of England to Henry Tudor is told. Get up-close-and personal in the colourful and interactive hands-on displays of the multi award-winning exhibition, follow the journey through the Wars of the Roses through the stories of those who were there. There is a wide range of outdoor activities, including guided and self-led walks, living history events and a packed events programme throughout the year.
The 1485 Tithe Barn restaurant offers a variety of refreshments and the well-stocked shop has a great range of souvenirs, gifts and books.
