Explore this unique, beautiful, and traditional place in West Hamburg. It used to be a village where sea officers and captains lived. The streets are narrow and there are loads of staircases. This part of Hamburg is the beach-strip along the river Elbe. The town of Blankenese is built on the starboard river bank and reaches the top of the 150m high hills along the bank.
