The site is located at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, about twenty kilometers from the city of Limbe, in the locality of Bimbia; village of Dikolo-Bimbia, District of Limbé III, in the locality of Fako, Region of South-West Cameroon. The site of the former slave port is linked to a small island just opposite called Nichols Island. The site is full of vestige still material of the presence of the slave trade in Bimbia.
