Bibliothèque National Library, Mauritania
The National Library of Mauritania is a public institution of an administrative and financial nature, and is a legal corporate body. It has a global workforce of 41 people, including a managing director, a deputy managing director, and several heads of services. Budgetary means: State subsidy. They are counting on their foreign partners, in order to be able to digitize the contents of their National Library.
The National Library is a member of the IFLA, of the UNAL – the Unesco Network of Associated Libraries, and of the network of Francophone Libraries.
