Bethlehemkerk, located at Laan van Meerdervoort 627 in The Hague, is a distinguished church building of the Protestant Gemeente ‘s Gravenhage. Designed by Rotterdam architects Johan Coenraad Meischke and Pieter Schmidt, the church was inaugurated in 1931. The structure features a hall church with a pointed arch vault and a 55-meter tower topped with a copper spire.
The tower is equipped with clocks on all sides, and the interior originally offered over 1,200 seats, including those on the gallery. The teakwood pews and the spaces designated for the church council and the royal family near the pulpit highlight the building’s architectural and historical significance.
