The Bay of Islands i-SITE Visitor Centre is part of New Zealand’s official nationwide Visitor Information Network.
Paihia often referred to as the “Jewel of the Bay of Islands” is a good starting point for the many and varied trips and adventures that await you here in the bay. Visit the beautiful seaside town of Russell with its colourful history and a lot of the oldest buildings in New Zealand. Kerikeri is 30 minutes drive north and visit the iconic Stone Store and Kemp House located by the picturesque basin. Kawakawa has the world famous Hundertwasser Toilets and is well worth a visit.
