Bantock House
Historic residence with oak-panelled rooms, a museum of art and archaeology, and a Dutch garden. Restored to its Edwardian glory, Bantock House is a hidden treasure set within 43 acres of parkland and surrounded by delightful formal gardens. We’ve extended our cafe opening times! We are now open 7 days a week from 9am, so you can join us for the all-new Bantock Breakfast!
The city’s Edwardian House, set in 43 acres of spectacular outdoor green space off Finchfield Road (WV3 9LQ). There will be a booking system in place to enable visitors to book a self-guided tour – available every 20 minutes – so that individuals and family groups can enjoy the house safely within their own bubble.
Visitors will also be able to use the Pitch and Putt, located on the adjacent parkland. The nine-hole course will be available during house opening times, between April and September, the cost is £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for children (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult) and includes hire of balls and clubs. A £5 deposit for equipment is required.
The Courtyard Café will be open Monday to Sunday, 9am until 5pm. Last drinks orders will be 4.30pm. There will be a reduced menu available. Visit Bantock House Museum and explore the history of Wolverhampton and its people in the period settings of the former Bantock family home. Complete with carved oak panelled rooms, decorative glass, tiles and period furnishings inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, lives are revealed alongside displays of locally made enamels, japanned ware, jewellery, toys, dolls and much more. With views over the Dutch Garden, the popular courtyard café serves homemade food, drinks and ice creams. Free onsite parking available.
