This magnificent visual arts center and museum of contemporary arts stands tall as an evident proof of the exceptional architectural prowess of its initiator, Barthélémy Toguo. This edifice is situated in Bandjoun, some 3km from the Western region’s chief town of Bafoussam.
The Bandjoun Station is first and foremost a creative workshop where artists converge and use their gifted hands to produce monumental pieces that have thrilled many visitors since its creation. In a bid to display creativity and love for culture, the museum and a contemporary arts exhibition center have been adorned with a wealth of masterpieces from both internationally and locally acclaimed artist including those of the founder himself. It also has permanent resident space for artists. All you visual arts aficionados, you just might find this irresistible!
