Badavut Beach, Ayvalık, Balıkesir, Turkey
Badavut is a little quieter and more family oriented than it’s more famous nearby neighbor Saramsakli. The water is also relatively cold compared to the rest of the Aegean cost, but given the 30-35 C days we had, we were happy to refresh ourselves. Loved the börek and cimit in the small market and the peaches in the fruit stands at the center of the small town. Worth a visit if you want a more friendly and fairly less crowded atmosphere than saramsakli.
