Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater, Baku, Azerbaijan
In the 1920s, with the assistance of the Bat Battalion and local actors in Baku, the State Independent Theater of Criticism and Agitation was established. The first play in the theater was performed on December 20, 1920. The program included scenes-compositions in the pop genre from Parrot and Carousel. In 1937 the theater received national status and became known as the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater.
